Happy Birthday Amy!

My "little" Amy turned 6 yesterday. SIX! How can she be that old?
It was a good day.
We started off with Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast (and a Pumpkin Latte for mommy - YUM!) I drove to the "good one" which is about 20-25 minutes away so that meant I had to take Audrey to school. Audrey got up and got dressed and ready to go but Amy and Allison got to stay in their jammies. Fun Fun!!!!
Then Amy got to take her treat bags to pass out to her class. With all the stupid food allergies these days I decided on 1 bag of Welch's fruit snacks and two pixie sticks. Amy approved and she said it was fun to pass them out to her class.
After school Amy got to pick where we went for dinner and that little cutie picked IKEA. What a hoot! Really what she wanted, was to go play in the kids room there but that's ok. David and I like the swedish meatballs and seriously - what person can't find something to buy at Ikea? Here she is sitting next to Dad in the Ikea cafe:

After dinner she got to open gifts:
Mom and Dad are giving her a desk - we looked at Ikea but didn't find one so we'll hit the unpainted furniture store next
Audrey gave her a Silvermist doll (Disney Fairies) and a Disney Fairies coloring/sticker book.
Allison gave her a Silvermist Pez dispenser and a Yo-yo ball
Grandpa H sent $25 and she is thinking she might get some new clothes and a webkin
Grandma and Grandpa sent the tea lesson gown and accessories for Amy's American Girl Doll, Elizabeth as well as 2 Felicity books.
Amy loved everything! The yo-yo ball is already driving me batty, Elizabeth was dressed in her new outfit this morning and Silver Mist came with us on errands.

Her party is Saturday - a Fairy Party of course!!!
It will be fun. We're going to decorate fairy wings, we've got wands and fairy stickers and a Tinker Bell pinata. Good times!!!!
