So David tells me today (Tuesday) that he has a 4 day weekend for Memorial Day and asks if I want to plan a family weekend get-away. Talk about short notice!!!!! MEN! So where can we go on such short notice? Nashville? Somewhere in Indiana? I don't know?!?! But Oh how I long to get away - oh how nice it would be to stay in a hotel and have someone else make the beds and prepare the meals and clean the dishes ...... OR do I suggest we stay here and spend the money we would have spent on the trip on the KITCHEN CHAIRS he PROMISED me he would buy with the bonus he got back in MARCH! Or since the charis were promised to me as a thank you for my OK for him to buy some stupid gun (which cost way more than the chairs) do I say "Yes, let's take a trip to ______ and then when we get back we can go buy the kitchen chairs during the Memorial Day sale" Hmmmmm .... decisions, decisions, decisions!
ETA: Looks like I'll be gettin' those chairs after all and MAYBE, just MAYBE a day trip to boot!
