Call me Grumpy Gus!

UGH! Having one of those I hate Ohio days - weeks ----

I am so tired of being cold. It was 80 for a few days - so long ago I can't even remember when it was. But lately we're doing good to get over 70. It is May 13 and I have yet to turn on the AC. That is just WRONG!!!! We haven't had anything on, heat or AC since the end of February. I used to think cold weather would be easier to put up with. I was sooooooo wrong. I hate it!!!!

I'm tired of being tied to the stupid school schedules here. Amy will finish up pre-school this week and I feel so bad that I am so thankful. But I HATE the hours! HATE THEM!!! Her pre-school schedule was M,W,F: 12:45-3:15. So all year I have spent those three days trying to cram in what errands I can in the AM, run home for lunch, run to drop Amy off, run to get Allison to fall asleep so I can run around the house trying to do whatever needs to be done before I have to wake Allison up so I can be back to pick Amy up by 3:15. And Audrey's wacky schedule doesn't help. She doesn't even catch the bus until 8:50 and her school day doesn't start until 9:30. Poor thing eats lunch at 11:15 but doesn't get out of school until 4:00 and if she rides the bus isn't home until 4:40!!!! Can I tell you how fun homework is? She is tired and starving when she gets home. Every other Mon and every Wed she has an activity (AHG or Dance). Tues and Thurs I am tutoring from 5-6. We don't eat until 6 or 6:30. Then it's a mad dash for bath and Allison needs to be rocking and reading around 7:45 so I can get her in bed at a decent hour. And stupid eastern time zone - the shows Audrey likes are on at 8pm here, not 7pm so she's either up late or we record everything.

I am so sick of being bored. So sick of having no one to have lunch with or go grab coffee or drinks with. I have made a few friends but they are even busier than me with kids and/or work. Very few SAHM's here. I think I have one friend that is truly a SAHM and she has 7 kids and a husband that has to travel for his work so she's a little busy .....

WAH! WHINE!!!! STOMPING MY FEET!!!!
