Time to 'fess up ....

As parents I think we all have learned to "never say never", am I right? Well here is my latest example of why. I said the "Barbie" movies were annoying. I said I was never going to actually buy them for my kids. In fact, I didn't even want to pay to rent them. I said they could check them out from the library on occasion but that would be it for us.

Yeah....welll....look below and you'll see just how well I stuck to THAT!
We currently own FIVE and I'm sure it won't stop there. We have yet to purchase the Barbie Nutcracker but since Audrey wants to dance in the dance studio's Nutcracker production this year, I am pretty sure that will be the next one added to our collection. Now in my defense, they really are some of the better options as far as harmless movies for my girls to watch. They are sort of like what Disney used to be - sweet, simple, happy ending, harmless songs, etc.... They are not pushing any major social or political issue. And, they are often $10 or even less at Target. And most of all - all three girls love them!
