Is he or isn't he?
So lots of you have asked if we are "done". I say, yes, three is good for me and I am ready to move back to the world of no diapers and a little bit of freedom during the day. Amy will be in Kinder next year and even though it is only a 1/2 day program here it is still something and she does get to ride the bus so no more waking Allison from her afternoon nap to go pick up Amy from pre-school. The following year, both Audrey and Amy will be in school for the full day and Allison will be able to go to pre-school and I am actually contemplating finding work outside the home - just something to get me out and about. BUT - while David says he is happy with 3, he doesn't say it as often as he used to AND birth control has been solely his responsibility for some time now but he has yet to schedule the ol' snip, snip. THEN after returning from our trip we were both a little ...... shall we say ...... ready for some adult time alone with each other ........ I point out that while I am feeling the same way, it is not the best time for me and protection is absolutely essential. There is only one left, apparently, and it takes him a while to find it. The next day as I am cleaning out the trash bins I see the wrapper atop the trash and notice it has an expiration date on it. Didn't know those came with expiration dates - so I look more closely just to see what it is. It is 06/06/01 . So what do you suppose that means? Perhaps we'll find out in a few weeks time?
