R.I.P romance - you will be missed
Remember the dreaded "WMS" (Warehouse Management System) they keep working on at dear sweet hubby's place of employment? You know, the project that robs me of my husband and robs my children of their father? The project that pretty much guarantees David is almost never home and when he is he is all kinds of grumpy, tired, stressed .....
Well we're in the throes of yet another "launch" and it's been oh-so-jolly here at the Albert casa the last week or so.
Last night I got the kids in bed at a decent hour and as David and I sat together, each on our own laptops, not really saying much to one another as the Monday Night Football game played in the background .... my gem of a husband looks up from his computer to utter these words:
"You know, when this WMS thing is over, when we're past all this, I'd really ... I'd really like to take you ....... "
And there I am - I am HOOKED! I am thinking this is it! This is the make-up-for-all-the-crap-I've-made-you-put-up -with moment
I am filling in that blank with all kinds of goodness
take you to a nice dinner
take you to a spa
take you away for a day
BUT INSTEAD
he ends the sentence with ......
"... take you out and ......
.......
.......
TEACH YOU HOW TO SHOOT."
Like I said - Rest In Peace Dear Romance ........Rest In Peace
