Here's what we've been up to for the month of July:
*Saturday was the 4th of July and it was a rainy one but we made the most of it. We stopped by the Liberty Township festival before the rain hit:
*Friday, July 10, Jessica and the boys returned from Michigan. Saturday morning we went to the Farmers Market and a little park area, and then out to lunch. Sunday we hit the Cincinnati Zoo.
*Tuesday, July 14, Jessica and the boys headed back to BIG D.
*Monday she came home and headed straight to a pool party hosted by one of her classmates from Kindergarten

*Wednesday, July 15 the kids had a babysitter twice in one day. I had a dentist appt that morning and then David and I went to see Public Enemies that evening. The movie was good, I enjoyed it and I know David liked it 'cuz it had lots of thompson machine guns in it.....
Then there was a little bit of a break in the action for a bit.
*Sunday, the 19th it was Amy's turn to head to camp. Her very first OVERNIGHT camp!
*Wednesday was Audrey's BIG DAY. She was asked to pose for the cover of a small, local magazine and we got to go the Cincinnati Enquirer offices downtown for a "photo shoot". It was amazing, Audrey had a blast, and we can't WAIT to see the cover. It comes out in the fall, September/October but here's little preview:
That afternoon Allison had her follow up appt with the allergist and it was fun to see Audrey eat up the attention that came from explaining the pumpkins on her face to everyone. Allison's appt went well but I am sad to say she is now on inhaled steroids twice a day. I was really hoping to avoid steroids altogether but .... I know I have to keep her healthy .....
*and then .... Thursday the 24th the in-laws arrived. David's mom and her husband flew into Dayton and rented a car and drove down here. The left around 3:30 on the 27th. It was stressful at times but I survived. More about that visit in another post ......
*Monday night Audrey headed to a sleepover birthday party at a friend's house.
*Friday I tested out a new baby sitter and a new hairdresser all at once. The new babysitter is GREAT! The kids love her and Audrey was even hiring her to come back and babysit for them on our anniversary before I could. The new hairdresser was faboo too. I went through three gals before I found Kaylee and then she went and fell in love with a boy who didn't live here and now she's getting married and moving. But I think I might have hit the jackpot on my first try with this new gal, Aimee. I went in for a haircut and highlights. YES, highlights. I have given in. Anyway, here's how it turned out:
What do you think? It's short but it will grow ..... And yes, I know I have a dorky expression on my face....this is why I don't take pictures of myself people!!!!
Allright - now to add a few more posts. Audrey's photo shoot was such a cool experience I think I'll give it it's own little blurb so I can tell you all about it. And then another post to let you know about the visit from the Mother-In-Law .......
