Ok - not really. If you think I'm going to post actual numbers on here you're nutty!
However, I think I am going to get another bottle of Alli. I'm waiting though until I make my "back to school" Sam's trip though so I can get a big bottle.
I went to the doctor on Monday. First time I have been to a doctor since Allison was born. First time I have been to a doctor that wasn't an Ob/Gyn in .... I don't even know ... probably ELEVEN years. I know, I know .... I'm horrible, I should take better care of myself, I'm not just "me" anymore, I am somebody's wife and I am a mother to three wonderful children who deserve to have a healthy mom .... I know all this. It's just that .... I hate going to the doctor. I hate getting on the scale. I hate being poked and prodded.
Anyway - I went and it appears that I lost 2-3 pounds. Now I know that isn't much. And I realize I was on Alli for a month and I probably should have lost more.
BUT
There was that week or so when my pinky toe was broken and I couldn't get any kind of real shoe on that foot so I didn't exercise
AND
I did have two rounds of out of town guests plus a party when the Cates were here and I did not really watch my food intake too closely during those times
AND
last week I felt like poo (AF + Allergies = sleepy, grumpy, lazy me) and I didn't exercise again
So I say 2-3 pounds is pretty decent.
Bonus is, I liked the doctor and plan on scheduling a full physical with her in the fall when the kids are back at school and I don't have to try and find a sitter
What's that you say? Wasn't this visit a physical? If it wasn't a physical why did I go?
Well --- no it wasn't a physical. Before the MIL visit I kinda, sorta worked myself up and I got what I thought was 2 big hives on my cheek. And then this rash popped up on my right forearm. And when we were at sitting at dinner and the whole Jenny Craig thing came up, my right wrist started itching. A few days later my whole right hip was red and itching. Everyone told me it was shingles. I was taking Benadryl and Tylenol every night. I was rubbing Neosporin on it every day and night. It was fading but it wasn't going away. It had been two weeks and I was still red and itchy.
So what is it? The doc has no idea. She said it isn't shingles. She thinks I got into something I was allergic to while gardening. She gave me a steroid cream and if the rash isn't gone in a week I'm supposed to come back.
I still say it was related to stress .....
