The Waiting Game

Surprise, surprise .... Dell decided around 4PM today that ... well ... yeah - they're gonna push their decision back ANOTHER WEEK. 

Sure - that's fine - no big deal - really - I don't mind putting my life on hold indefinitely - no, not at all. 
I mean it's not like I am trying to
make summer vacation plans
or
sign the kids up for summer camp, swim lessons, or dance lessons ....
or
decide what kind of volunteer roles I can commit to for the next school year
no really Dell - you just take your sweet time ......

My house is going to be immaculate
I will drink my weight in red wine
and
I will lose the 50 pounds I've been wanting to lose not because I am maintaining a healthy diet but rather because my stomach will be in eternal knots and I will be perpetually relieving stress through zumba, insane amounts of house cleaning and brutal yard work. (speaking of which I already decimated one poor shrub in our front yard and I would be attacking more this weekend if we didn't have FRICKIN' SNOW in our forecast!!!!!)

BUT
my bestie did send me a "back up plan" and I gotta say - I'm likin' it!
Excerpt from her email to me:
I've decided your backup plan is....
1-sell your house
2- move in with us
3- David takes his time and finds a job in Dallas
4- kids all go to school together
5- Robert and I finally have friends in the neighborhood!

Sounds like the perfect plan to me! I am sooooo there!
