The Container Store feeds my OCD addictions and I love them for it!

I love the Container Store's Elfa - It is the most wonderul shelving ever created. EVER!  And it goes on sale for 30% off every January.  EVERY JANUARY!

Two years ago we re-did our master closet.  At that time there wasn't a Container Store here and we drove 2 hours north to Columbus, Ohio for it.  TWICE!  But it was so worth it.  My master closet looks so lovely.

Now we have a Container Store here - YEA!  This year when the Elfa went on sale we decided to finally re-do our horrible kitchen pantry.  The pantry shelves were cheap, builder grade, Elfa knock offs.  They weren't adjustable.  There weren't enough of them.  They were bowed in the middle which made everything fall over all the time.  It was so unorganized and I could never find ANYTHING.  A point made very obvious when I cleared out the pantry so we could install the Elfa - THREE containers of corn starch - THREE - and all of them have been opened but barely used. Two things of powdered sugar.  Three bags of light brown sugar (two were opened and one was pretty much a brown sugar brick), two bags of dark brown sugar. And so on .... and so forth ....

But that is all behind me now.

The new shelves were expertly installed by my awesome hubby and everything is in it's proper place AND easily accesible.  'Tis a thing of beauty my friends .... it almost makes me want to forget that the aforementioned awesome hubby used my Dyson like a shop vac to clean up when he was done ..... it almost makes me forget how much fun it was to clean out the canister and the attachments before I could vaccum the upstairs bedrooms ..... almost ........

While we're on the subject of hubby ..... check out that cereal shelf!  Here, let me show you a close up:

Would you like to know what he said when I commented on how much cereal we have?  Would you?  He looks at it and turns to  me and says - yeah, but there's none of my favorite (which would be Frosted Flakes in case you wanted to know).  REALLY?  We have 6 canisters and two boxes behind them plus a thing of instant oatmeal and he's not satisfied because there are no Frosted Flakes????
