Calling All Prayer Warriors

Ok friends - I am coveting your prayers.

We have not been able to travel home since Easter of 2008? I think that's right .... Not last Easter but the Easter before - that's 2008 right?

Anyway - we had planned to come home for Thanksgiving this year. Spending the weekend before Thanksgiving in Dallas, spending actual Thanksgiving Day in Austin, and then starting the trek back to Ohio the Friday after. Then David's work schedule changed and they planned to release this new Warehouse Management System in late November. (Yes, the dreaded WMS, my arch-nemesis) So then we thought maybe I could drive to TX with the girls and he would fly down Wednesday or Thursday and then drive back with us. BUT NOW - it looks like he won't be able to come at all. They plan on launching November 21. Seriously?!?!?!?! Who does stuff like this?!?!?!? Oh that's right, DELL. Grumble, grumble, grumble ...... And yes, you are right, David doesn't work for Dell anymore but this WMS is for them so they are the ones picking the launch dates ......

So pray with me please. Pray for the schedule to be changed yet again and changed in such a way that David can be with us for all or at least part of our Texas Trip.

(And then ... if you want to add this is for good measure ... you can also pray that Dell just loves this new WMS. In fact they love it so much they decide to hand off shipping from the Nashville facility over to Ceva. And then when they do - Ceva is so impressed by David's general awesomeness that they decide to move us to Nashville with enough of a promotion and pay raise that we can do it and our family ends up in Nashville in a few years ... you know ... say ... after the convicted criminal next door to me moves and GREAT new neighbors move in raising the property value .... and we're able to sell this house at a profit .... hey - we're taught to pray specifically when we pray right?!?!)
