Hello .....

Hello little bloggity blog!  Oh how I have missed you! But I am not ignoring you just to ignore you.  I promise.  In the time I have been away .....

I pulled off a pretty cool (if I do say so) pizza party and sleepover for one awesome nine year old daughter (NINE?  How is that possible???)

I have taken children to the hair salon, the orthdontist, the dentist, the dentist again for a filling, the doctor ....

I helped out with the pre-school Easter party. I shopped, decorated and cooked for Easter.  I stuffed eggs, hid eggs, put together Easter Baskets .....

I did an "emergency" load of white laundry one day when I discovered Miss Allison had not practiced the best ... shall we say ... hygeine skills earlier in the day.  In my mad dash to find enough whites to make a full load I threw in a slipcover from a little table that APPARENTLY had a red crayon stashed in the little pocket that is at the bottom.  I didn't discover the red crayon until it melted in the dyer and set itself into just about EVERY piece of white clothing.  Most of the important pieces of clothing were salvaged after a few more cycles through the washer with carbona stain devil on the crayon spots and bleach in the water.  I got the lovely task of cleaning the dryer THREE times with a toothpick and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  God bless the makers of that little gem of an item.

I started the new job with Butler Hill and while it is only 4 hours a day - it has been a huge change for me.

My husband was out of town for a week.  He was in TX where he spent a whopping 6 THOUSAND dollars on the Avenue F house and another $1,500.00 on his car.  Not to mention meals out, gas and a hotel room on the way down. (crazy boy drove straight through on the way back) He got back the day before Easter.  Easter Sunday was nice and lazy.

The week after Easter was Spring Break. The kids have been playing with friends non stop.  They have been on bike rides.  They have run a lemonade stand twice. We went to a park.  We went to a fun little coffee shop the day our internet was out. We went to the zoo. We ate breakfast at Dunkin Donuts one morning. We went to see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". We didn't go out of town but we still had plenty of fun.

AND FRIDAY?!?! When I am dead tired from trying to work and entertain the children .... my hubby goes out of town AGAIN. He had to go to Kentucky for a Machine Gun Shoot.  Friday night I was so far behind on my Butler Hill work I ended up working from 8:45pm-11:15pm that night.

Saturday the older two and I were signed up for a two hour shift outside Kroger collecting food for local food banks.  We do this every year.  It's called "Scouting for Food" and we partner with local Boy Scout Troops.  It's a great thing to be a part of and this year we filled 2 grocery carts during our two hour shift.

Speaking of Kroger, I have been to Kroger about a zillion times in the last few days.  In my frazzled state I can apparently not remember ANYTHING while at the grocery store. I was there again today and I'm sure I'll be back for "one more thing" tomorrow.

I am BEAT y'all. B-E-A-T.  Last night I was in bed by 9:30. I tried to work on my Bible Study but gave out before it was even 10pm.

Hopefully I will get a hang of the new work/mom/wife schedule this week and hopefully I will see you again soon my little blog .....
